On January 21 and 22, Tan Xuguang paid visits to the Indonesian Minister of Transportation and Minister of Economic Coordination in Jakarta. SINOTRUK signed cooperation agreements with Indonesias MNC Group and Meratus Group, respectively.

Tan Xuguang had in-depth discussions with the Indonesian Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, and the Minister of Economic Coordination, Erlangga. Tan Xuguang stated, "We have been deeply cultivating the Southeast Asian market for over thirty years, establishing a strong bond with local customers. Ensuring customer satisfaction is our highest priority".
Strategic deployment of financial expansion
SINOTRUK signed a joint venture cooperation agreement with Indonesias MNC Group. Tan Xuguang and MNC Groups Executive Chairman, Chen Mingli, delivered speeches and signed the agreement. MNC will fully support SINOTRUK in building competitiveness in financial leasing services and expanding the influence of overseas brands.
Initiate localized manufacturing cooperation
SINOTRUK also signed an agreement with Indonesias Meratus Group for the localized manufacturing of commercial vehicles. Tan Xuguang, Indonesian Ambassador to China, Djauhari Oratmangun, and Meratus Chairman, Charles Menaro, delivered speeches and signed the agreement. Tan Xuguang stated, "We will mobilize the entire group to create the most competitive manufacturing base in the Southeast Asian commercial vehicle industry."
During this period, Tan Xuguang also had intensive discussions with local clients of Japans Orix Indonesia and Weichai Group.
