On the morning of February 7, the Weifang Municipal Peoples Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shandong Heavy Industry Weichai Group. Liu Yun, secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee, Tan Xuguang, Party secretary, chairman and president of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, chairman of Weichai Group and chairman of SINOTRUK, attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony. Liu Jianjun, deputy secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee and mayor, presided over the event.
Liu Yun congratulated Weichai Group on its achievements in the past year and expressed gratitude for the outstanding contributions made by the enterprises to the development of Weifang. He stated that in this year, Weifang will adhere to the goals and measures, such as "one goal", "seven breakthroughs", "five accelerated improvements" and "one strong guarantee", focus on the primary task of high-quality development, highlight stability and progress, and strive to promote "ten new improvements" to accelerate the construction of a better Weifang. He expressed his hope that Weichai Group can fully leverage its leading role as a flagship enterprise, continue to deeply cultivate and develop Weifang, and contribute to achieving new breakthroughs and advancements in construction of Weifang. On behalf of Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Weichai Group, Tan Xuguang expressed gratitude for the long-term care and support given to the enterprises. He said that in the past year, Weichai Group has achieved high-quality development, made comprehensive improvement in market share in various product sectors, reached extensive strategic cooperation with world-class enterprises, and accelerated progress in construction of major projects, all of which inject new momentum into the construction of a better Weifang. Weichai Group will always be based in Weifang, continuously strengthen and expand the enterprises, promote mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises and the local area, and make greater contributions to the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of Weifang.
